Personal Story
🎨 Why I Paint
( The Cardinal Painting, as described in the story using oil paint + alcohol Ink)
“My journey with oil painting began in 2016, on a day heavy with memory and love — the anniversary of my brother’s passing. I was spending quiet time with my dad, both of us navigating the weight of grief in our own ways. In the stillness of that moment, something guided me toward a blank canvas.
What happened next felt less like learning and more like uncovering something that had been waiting inside me — a talent I didn’t know I had, a voice I didn’t know was mine.
I have always believed it was my brother showing me the way.
A gift from him, arriving right when I needed it most.
From that day forward, painting became more than a hobby. It became a form of healing, connection, and gratitude. Through every landscape, every bird, every sky filled with light, I feel him — steady, present, reminding me to create, to breathe, to notice beauty even in difficult seasons.
I paint because of him.
Because art has the power to hold memory, to soften pain, and to transform loss into something deeply meaningful.
Every brushstroke is a conversation. Every finished piece is a love letter. And every product I share is a way of carrying his light forward.
This brand is not just about art — it’s about connection, resilience, and the quiet gifts that shape who we become.
My paintings are pieces of my story, and I’m honored to share them with you.”
